Native American Myths have very specific properties that only pertain to them. One being that the number four apears in almost every aspect of the Myth aslo the number one, the one and only the main man. In the Appache creation Myth the number four and one apear right of the bat. "Suddenly from the darkness emerged a thin disc, one side yellow and the other side white, appearing suspended in midair. Within the disc sat a small bearded man, Creator, the One Who Lives Above."(pg1) This is an example of the one the main man the creator. He is the sacred one the almighty one. ""Where is the sky?" he asked, and sang, "I am thinking, thinking, thinking what I shall create next." He sang four times, which was the magic number."(pg1) This shows that the number in NA Myths that is most sacred is four. Here are a few more examples. " So Creator made four giant posts--black, blue, yellow, and white to support the earth."
"Four stones were heated by the fire inside the sweathouse."
